Oh, Grace… sweet Grace. 🐈‍⬛🩷She was found downtown in the middle of a rainstorm wearing a flea collar, but with no microchip. Friendly, clearly loved, and obviously someone’s pet, she was lost, scared, and far from home.Thankfully, a good Samaritan contacted one of our TNR volunteers, who scanned her for a microchip but found none. We posted flyers around downtown and shared her story on social media, hoping to reunite her with her family. Surely, this wasn’t a cat who had been living on the streets. We took her into foster care, and prayed her family would come for her. Twenty-six days later, we received a message from someone who had seen our post and recognized this sweet girl. Thanks to the power of social media, the kindness of strangers, and the dedication of TNR volunteers who refuse to give up, Grace—whose real name is Zelda—found her way back home last week.And of course, before she headed home, we made sure she was microchipped… just in case she decides to embark on another adventure.😋🎉Brandi ...
